Fa'afaite i te ao Ma'ohi

2m

The cultural exchange between the Voyagers of Va’a Fa’afaite from Tahiti and Waka Puumaiteragi from Aotearoa (New Zealand) took place in Hawai’i at Wai Wai collective during the 13th annual Festival of the Pacific (FEST PAC). The voyagers came together to share their traditional knowledge, exchange gifts, and showcase their unique cultural practices. The event at Wai Wai collective was to highlight the journey of Va'a Fa'afaite and was followed by a vibrant celebration of Pacific Island heritage, with performances of traditional songs and dances.
